Welcome! I’m Jane Sheeba, and here’s something about me.
I am optimistic. I don’t believe in luck. I believe in smart work and always work strategically. I find happiness in helping others. I keep negativity OFF the fence. I LOVE freedom. I love being able to do what I want to do.
Well, my business helps me to do what I love to do. My business gives me all the freedom I ever wanted in my life! My business has made me so independent, financially and otherwise.
I don’t have to beg my boss to take a day off. I don’t have to work on something I don’t like just because I have bills to pay.
And this is so exciting!
How did I achieve this? Well, it didn’t happen overnight. I went through a lot of (good and bad) experiences to get there. And I want you to get there as well – except that you don’t have to go through all the bad experiences I had.
I share whatever works or whatever doesn’t work, here at my blog.
Successful business and life is not a fairy tale. It does exist!
Are you ready to live that life? Hang on…
At this blog, I share whatever I’ve learned and whatever I am learning in my business and life.
I am not someone who believes that one should sacrifice their life to make a living. That’s not in my book.

That’s a promise!
I am a highly confident, positive woman who wants to have fun. I want to live my life in full, be independent, be free and enjoy every moment.
This whole online thing started off to me as a fluke. I was away from home to do my Ph. D at Lancaster University, UK. I did my Ph. D in Medical Physics, if you are curious.
Home sick struck me heavily while I was there for 4+ years. It was the first time in my life I was away from home. So I turned to online forums for some comfort. Over the time I started doing research on many things and ended up reading many blogs (both for my Ph. D related and my curiosity related research).
This was back in 2007 when blogs were not so many. I started getting curious about “blogs”. I wanted to know why certain people have an online presence and share their knowledge. And then before I could fully understand the things, I impatiently started a couple of blogs myself at the free blogging platform Blogger.
I started writing just about anything since that helped a lot with my loneliness. One fine day, those blogs were gone, just like that. I still don’t know why they disappeared. This made me think that I should have total control of things when it comes to online.
So I decided to launch my own self-hosted website. As I said before, I still didn’t understand things properly. So I started a blog, not a business. And most of my content was pointless.
Meanwhile I got married, completed my Ph. D, came back to India and started working as a Scientist. Even though I had chosen research as a career with all my heart (which is why I did my Ph. D), something was off.
I was on a strict working schedule. I had to leave my few months old baby with my parents to go to work. I missed him a lot, and more than that, he missed me a lot.
My time with my kid, my happiness, my time off and my relaxation were not in my hands; and many things in life were not in my control. In short, I was sacrificing all the important things in life to make a living – what an irony!
It was then, I made a bold decision to start my own online business, with the little blogging knowledge I had already. It was kind of a big risk to take that route, given that I had about 3 posh offers in my research career.
I discussed my wish with my hubby who is a very rational person. He encouraged me. So I decided to neglect those career offers and start my own business.
Before I fully quit my job, I started my online business and started building it one step at a time, while doing my regular job. This made me less financially demanding.
I was able to cover by initial blogging investments with the income from my day job. And things started to work out after about 6 months. After about a year, I quit my day job! The learning curve was quite steep and I had to do a lot of mistakes to learn things by myself.
But the great thing is that I am now in full control of my life and I live it the way I want. I find myself to be blessed.
Just after I quit my job I settled in a comfort zone. I was happy with the income I got, but I was in a plateau because I wasn’t doing anything to take my business to the next level.
Almost a year went like this. I was so comfortable writing and publishing blog posts from behind my laptop. Even though I had a decent audience and a business with decent income, I was not moving ahead.
So I decided to step out of my comfort zone. I connected with other bloggers – I did this via leaving meaningful comments on other blogs. I did massive guest blogging. These two helped with spreading out.
I put myself out and connected with my readers. I helped my readers and email subscribers whenever I got the chance. This made my audience base even stronger.
My mission is to help you make your business and life great!
I sincerely believe that I can help you with all that I have done so far.
I don’t claim myself to be a “guru”; but I do have my fair share of knowledge and experience in what I’m doing; and I certainly know what I am doing!
